"I know I've messaged you a bunch of times saying how fucking good it is and it probably got a little embarrassing a while ago but fuck man, it's really good. Recently had another buddy ask me to list my favourite albums of 2015 and I named a few but in retrospect, this is my top record of the year." Graham Barrett - Buisness Baller, Menace.
This is the result of a resolution I made myself to make an album of music using a bunch of bullshit equipment that I've held on to for years but never used. Shit like kids keyboards, toy guitars, banjos, Kalimbas and complicated sythesizers that I never worked out how to use. It was recorded laboriously and annoyingly on a 4 track which I had such grand ideas for when i stole it from school on my last day about 11 years ago and, again, never used. what started out as a whimsical lark to justify having kept all this stuff for years actually became something fairly meaningful to me, as an exercise in seeing an idea through to fruition containing some, you know, ACTUAL SONGS, about THINGS, with starts, middles and ends. Some of them are actually good! Because of all this i decided to make it available on tape, and you should get one of because its quite a nice thing to have. All colourful and with individual covers and notes and labels and everything. I hope you enjoy at least some of it. It's possible that some of it may be too weird for everyone to really enjoy, but I made it, so here it is.
